Chrome extension privacy

What is sent

When you submit a search, the extension sends your search text to foodchainapi.com to retrieve category candidates and guides. Search text appears in the request URL and may appear in normal hosting request logs. Network requests also expose ordinary connection information such as your IP address to the hosting service. Avoid submitting confidential product or supplier information.

What the extension accesses

The extension requests network access only to https://foodchainapi.com/*. It does not request access to tabs, page contents, browsing history, cookies, or browser storage. It does not save search history or include third-party analytics in the popup. Opening website links is subject to the website's separate behavior.

Control and contact

Close the popup to discard its current results. Remove the extension at chrome://extensions to stop using it. Questions about the extension can be sent to [email protected].
